Like many developers all the work I did at my last job was proprietary and I can't share it here. So how does one show they can code when they can't show the work they previously did? The answer is side projects.
However, with a full-time job, family, and a rich life, the humble side projects became near non existent in the last year. Hence, I find my portfolio a little lighter at the moment. But not to worry, I am focused on filling it up in the weeks to come.
A simple web app built to match developers with investors. This Software as a service (SAAS) has both a free and a paid membership option.
Dev Match uses Bootstrap3 for a mobile-first layout. On the backend it's a Ruby on Rails app currently living on Heroku. This project also utilizes the stripe API to handle payment.
